About
I am a research biologist (nearly 20 years), a classical violinist (30 years), a pilot (10 years), an artist (as long as I can remember), and other more traditional things too such as a husband (4 years) and father (nearly 3 years).
I have a unique combination of passions and therefore a unique story. I think the most interesting parts of my story are the failures and setbacks, the hurdles I had to overcome.
Across all those passions, there was one hurdle taller than the rest. The one that has held me back the most across my artistic, professional, and social lives. It is my stage fright.
This site and project is about sharing my transformational story from someone that dreaded performances on stage or presentations in a conference room to someone that learned how to take control of my performance anxiety, use it to lean in to performances and presentations, and achieve artistic satisfaction and professional success beyond what I ever imagined.
